54620 LokPilot FX V4.0 8 Pin Plug

The LokSound by ESU LokPilot Fx V4.0is a function-only decoder for vehicles without a motor, such as unpowered locomotives or lighted passenger and cab cars where space is limited. It will control features such as interior lighting or directional headlights or marker lights. The LokPilot Fx V4.0is a multi-protocol DCC, Selectrix or Motorola decoder.

The LokPilot Fx V4.0supports 14 - 128 speed steps and two and four-digit addressing. It supports all DCC programming modes and can be operated and programmed with all DCC compatible digital command stations. If using RailCom you can also read out CV values on the main with a suitable command station. Motorola users can use up to 28 speed steps and 255 addresses, and the decoder can detect Marklin brake sections. Programming using the Marklin Control Unit 6021 is also possible. The LokPilot Fx V4.0 is a dual-mode decoder and can be used on analogue DC layouts.

The LokPilot Fx V4.0 can also be operated with a LokSound V4.0 and a LokPilot V4.0 decoder; for example, you can install a LokSound V4.0 decoder into the loco of a train consist and equip the control cab car at the other end of the train with a LokPilot Fx V4.0. Program with the same address and the decoders will act absolutely identical. The identical CV arrangement makes the synchronization of both decoders easy. Great for push-pull commuter trains with a loco at one end!

The LokPilot Fx V4.0decoder has six function outputs supplying a maximum current of 150 mA each. All important lighting functions (e.g.: blinking lights mars light, flash) are available and can be adjusted just like the brightness for each individual output. LokPilot Fx Nano is part of the line of ESU LokSound decoders.
