The folks over at Pullman-Standard had a bright idea!!!.

Passengers in double bedrooms pay a higher fare than roomette passengers, so why don't we put the bedrooms in the middle of the car so that those passengers get the smoothest ride. And thus our 10-5 Sleeper (plan 4186) was born, thanks to the bright ideas at Pullman! Model features include roomette curtains and seethrough armrests on the bedroom chairs.
