With the ECoS ESU Command Station 50220, we can present to you today the latest generation of our successful ECoS digital center. The ECoS offers you state-of-the-art digital technology and a unique range of functions in the model railway industry, which do not disappoint, both (new) beginners and “experts” who are looking for a new central office. The operation of the device is child's play thanks to a large colour display with a touch panel and the user interface matched: All symbols are largely drawn and clearly structured, information is displayed in plain text in various languages.

The ECoS control panel includes everything you need for digital plant operation: Simply connect and get started.

What does an ECoS offer you?

With an ECoS central panel, you purchase an open system. It has been designed to be achieved ensure maximum openness and compatibility with existing systems and standards. ECoS supports the data formats as a multi-protocol center:

• DCC with RailCom® and RailComPlus® (up to 9999 addresses, 128 speed steps, 31 functions)
• Märklin® Motorola® (up to 255 addresses, up to 8 functions)
• Selectrix® (driving and programming of decoders)
• M4 (mfx® compatible, with automatic login of locomotives)

The ECoS is therefore the only digital central office that offers all four common digital protocols. This is important so that you can continue to use almost all existing locomotive decoders.

With ECoS, you can control the courses and magnetic articles: The graphical turnout switch provides you with access to up to 1200 courses (DCC or Motorola® format).

With ECoS, you can create and trigger routes: Group several switches and magnetic articles in the simplest way and switch them together.

With ECoS you can control shuttle trains.

To connect external digital components, every ECoS is equipped with the ECoSlink, our CAN-based high-speed system bus. Each ECoS central system also connects a network connection to a computer.
Thanks to the Booster integrated into the ECoS and the supplied switching power supply, you can start immediately! You don't need more!

Who is an ECoS suitable for?

Basically, an ECoS always “fits”: beginners who are looking for an easy-to-use central office will find their way around: The large graphic display with a touch panel shows all information clearly in plain text. The switch to Digital has never been easier! ECoS is equally suitable for DC and AC trainers (required for suitable decoders) and all gauges from N to G.

Model railway operators looking for a new digital centre are also the right place for the ECoS: In addition to the road control and the shuttle train control, you will learn to appreciate the easy operation of the device and the extensive programming options for decoders.

Your previous digital system (e.g. Märklin 6021®, Lenz Digital Plus®, ROCO®) can be connected to the input of the ECoSniffer and reused as a handheld controller. It becomes more comfortable if you are provided by a Loconet® central office (e.g. Want to switch Intellibox, Digitrax® to ECoS: The optional L.Net converter integrates these devices perfectly into the ECoS.
