Welcome to The Train Exchange’s website! I am excited to be able to be able to reach out to customers who might not be able to make it to the store. The items listed are only a portion of our inventory as we get the site up and running. We have a large selection of items in-store as well and our inventory is always changing, so please keep checking in for updates. If there is something you are interested in that is not online, let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

Two years ago when I told people that I was opening a model train store, the reaction was incredibly positive! While most people were expecting a typical storefront where they could buy model trains and associated hardware, I had a bigger vision. The Train Exchange is a place where model train enthusiasts can not only find all their hobby supplies, but also to come and read about the hobby and hang out with friends. It is a place where a novice can come to learn from someone who has been in the hobby for a while and has valuable advice. Come down to the store and hang out in the lounge area! The coffee is always on!

I’d like to take this opportunity to extend a huge thank you to all of you who encouraged and supported me so far! I am grateful for the hobby community and all the volunteers who stepped up along the way to make this store a reality! Thank you!
